Nomad Soul, Lorain County's Favorite Female-Led (and Avon Lake's own) Classic Rock, Rock and Blues Band is coming to Miller Rd. Park Gazebo for The Summer Concert Series with Special Guest Lance Horwedel. Lance's family is also from Avon Lake! Lance & Shannon are both members of Rumours~ Ohio's Premier Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band. Lance started that band 26 years ago, and Shannon has been it's "Stevie" since 2018. They also do a duet together! Lance has been an original, cover, solo and tribute musician for the majority of his life. They are super grateful to have him playing with Nomad Soul. ~Bill played drums and percussion in both concert and symphonic band at ALHS and was the drum major for the marching band, , he graduated in the class of 91'. He led a Grateful Dead and Phish Tribute Band for the last decade and Nomad Soul was lucky enough to grab him when he became available. He also subs for Rumours on the drums when needed. Shannon graduated in 92 from ALHS', played sports, and participated in both choir and band playing the trumpet from 5th grade all the way thru high school. She started singing in 4th or 5th grade with the help and encouragement from Susan Vance~Koch and later Mr. Bill Zurkey. She has been in and led bands since the age of 12, traveling to California to perform at the age of 18, and now traveling to New Orleans every few years to perform in The Night of 1,000 Stevie's Show in The French Quarter. Brian Paul (bass) and Shannon have been married for 22 years and have played together in bands the entire time. Brian has been playing bass most of his life, he played basketball for Avon, graduating in 91' and went on to play ball at Baldwin Wallace. Nomad Soul is looking forward to seeing all their family and friends in Avon Lake at The Miller Road Gazebo in August!!!
